Outstanding Beast

Initially I was bit reluctant to buy this due two factors.
1. Heat Issues (from youtube reviews)
2. Price tag
But, after I've started using this for software development purposes, following are my observations.
1. Build quality is great. Carbon material is really outstanding comparing other metal and plastics.
2. Performance wise it is superb and even helping to elevate evo standards.
3. Big IDEs like PyCharm are opening within two seconds. You don't need to have any doubt about restart, shutdown & wakeup.
4. By the way, no heating issues I found. Please do not believe on youtube review.
5. I'm using this laptop for more than 6 hrs a day and it is giving more than 12 hrs of battery.
6. Touch Pad is comfortable to the great extent.
7. Face recognition is happening unbelievably quick. I don't have any regrets that finger print scanner is not available.
Very minor Cons:
1. PgUp & PgDn are function keys. Rather than give Left and Right arrow keys big, they would have given separate PgUp & PgDn keys.
2. When I use Bluetooth mouse, there is a frequent lag. It is may be because of OS / driver, not sure yet.
3. Keyboard back-light is not helping when there is a little light in the room.
4. Keyboard key space is very little. In case they can extend keyboard towards ends then that will help.

Overall, this is cute beast. As somebody said, the only issue with this is, your kids love more than you. Couple of weeks back, I've purchased hp to my daughter but still her eyes are on this. May be I'll buy one more with different color (if available) for my daughter
