Okay, let’s try this again – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has been announced, properly this time. It’s largely the same tablet as the 2022 and 2020 editions, but with a different chipset.
There are two versions to choose from: Wi-Fi only connectivity (this model weighs 465g) and LTE (467g). Both will be available in Oxford Gray, Chiffron Pink and Mint.
In both cases, you can have 64GB or 128GB of built-in memory, which is expandable with microSD cards up to 1TB. Unfortunately, the RAM capacity is still stuck at 4GB as if it’s still 2020. The 2024 model is powered by an Exynos 1280 and runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1 out of the box (the 2022 model was recently updated to that version).
The tablet features a 10.4” LCD (2,000 x 1,200px, 15:9) surrounded by a symmetrical 9mm bezel. It’s 7mm thick with a 7,040mAh battery that’s enough for 14 hour binges of your favorite shows. The tablet comes bundled with an S Pen stylus.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) will be released on March 28. The price is still unknown, even Samsung Romania (where we saw the tablet first) doesn’t have units. We also found it on Samsung UK, but there’s no stock or listed price. No sign of the “Chiffron Pink” colorway either.
