Qualcomm scheduled an event for March 18 where we will see a new chipset get announced. The American chipmaker said it will bring a “new flagship product,” hinting we'll see the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. We are also expecting the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 to make its debut alongside it.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 has been doing the rounds in the rumor mill since the start of the year. Bearing the model code SM8635 it is a TSMC-built 4nm chip with one major CPU core at 2.9 GHz and an Adreno 735 GPU with 900 MHz frequency.
We know little about the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. Earlier today we heard the OnePlus Ace 3V will be the first phone on the market with this particular chipset, but so far, we have heard no details from either the phone company or the chip maker.
