Apple's Vision Pro receives 3C certification in China, gearing up for a broader release

The Apple Vision Pro, unveiled last June, went on sale in the US in February. Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed that the Vision Pro would come to China later this year, but we are yet to get a more definite launch timeframe for it. However, the Vision Pro has been certified by China's 3C along with its battery pack, moving it closer to its China launch.

While we await more details from Apple about the Vision Pro's launch outside the US, Bloomberg reports the Cupertino-based tech giant plans to launch the headset in additional countries after WWDC, which takes place between June 10 and 14, 2024. This contradicts analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's claim of Apple launching the Vision Pro outside the US before WWDC.

In addition to China, Apple is expected to introduce the Vision Pro in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and the UK. Bloomberg claims hundreds of Apple's retail employees from some of these countries have flown to Cupertino to get training on how to demonstrate the Vision Pro to customers, indicating these countries will be some of the first international markets for the Vision Pro.
