Samsung has shared that its One UI 6.1 update has already made its way to 8.8 million devices since its rollout commenced in March. Notably, this count excludes the Galaxy S24 family, which debuted with One UI 6.1 preinstalled. Thus, the figures encompass the Galaxy S23 series (including the S23 FE), the Z Fold5 and Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Starting in March, the rollout extended to include the Galaxy S22 family, the Fold4 and Flip4, as well as the Galaxy Tab S8 series this month. Consequently, the numbers are expected to escalate further, facilitating a wider adoption of the new Galaxy AI features among users.

Samsung has set its sights on granting over 100 million users access to Galaxy AI by the conclusion of 2024. According to the company, Live Translate, Live Transcribe, Chat Assist, and Circle to Search have emerged as the most extensively utilized AI functions following the debut of the One UI 6.1 update.

Impressively, nearly 75% of European Galaxy Z Fold5 users, 80% of Galaxy S23 Ultra owners, and nearly 65% of Galaxy Tab S9 users have adopted the One UI 6.1 update. Samsung heralds this as one of its most acclaimed software updates to date.
